AEC Hackathon 2015 was a great success!

We had an amazing weekend in which 45 participants worked for 32 hours to produce some great results, some of which have potential to shake up the building industry.

Jury Results

the jury chose 4 projects to award prizes to:

Social Innovation - SparkR; help home-owners choose between sustainable solutions for their home
Project Improvement - BIMprint.com; Generate printed construction documents from IFC on demand
Technology Implemantation - BIM4nonBIMmers; Give non-modeling experts the opportunity to edit or add IFC parameters online
End User Experience - Coffee 'n Desk; combine sensordata and social media comments to choose the right flexibel workspace
